Our twist headbands are handmade in Tasmania from 100% Tasmanian ethical superfine merino wool. (Certified sustainable and traceable by New Merino® Chain of Custody.)

The logo buttons are crafted in Tasmania from 100% Tasmanian (reclaimed) Huon Pine. This highly-prized timber is native to Tasmania and was once used to make boats! It is water-compatible.

The superfine micron of the wool means that these crocheted headbands don’t make your head itch. They are very soft and useful to keep your hair off your face (whether washing, or applying makeup). They can also keep your ears warm on cold days and they make a great fashion accessory too!

Use

  • pull the headband all the way over your head, then pull back up so it sits on your ears
  • or, just pull it straight on over your ears

  • handwash with wool detergent/soap in warm water & rinse
  • or, place in a lingerie bag with wool detergent/soap in a washing machine on gentle cycle
  • dry flat, in the shade, on a towel

We bought a purple crochet wool head warmer/band from the [North West Tasmania] ECOFEST. We would like to buy one for our friends little girl who is going through treatment for leukemia. She loves pink and purple colours. We thought this head band would be good as it is so soft
